Moments for Mums: Refuge - Part 2预览

Each of the three verses in this mini-series not only contain the word ‘refuge’, but also ‘word.’ That’s no coincidence!

When we learn that Jesus is the Word (John 1:1–2), the ‘word’, takes on a whole new perspective. Can I read this verse as meaning we can find our refuge in not only God’s word (his written word), but in Jesus, (the Word)? I’m no theologian, but it sure made me sit up and think.

The more I study God’s word, the more I am blown away by the depth of what it says.

May I challenge you, in the busyness of parenting, to still find the few minutes each day to seek God and learn more of him through his word?

Lord, every time I read your word, I discover new things. It really is a living thing! I want to find refuge in it every day. Amen.
