Resurrection Reflections: Three Ways to Celebrate the Resurrection of Jesus Christ预览
Believe and live conscious of the resurrection
1 Corinthians 15:13-14 (AMP) says:
But if there is no resurrection of the dead, then not even Christ has been raised; and if Christ has not been raised, then our preaching is vain [useless, amounting to nothing], and your faith is also vain [imaginary, unfounded, devoid of value and benefit—not based on truth].
Never entertain the thought that Jesus was not raised from the dead and there is no life after death. The essence of Christianity is rooted in the resurrection of Jesus Christ, which opens the door for believers to share the same experience—death to the flesh and resurrection into a new eternal life.
Your life will never remain the same when you live conscious of this truth—that Jesus resurrected from the dead, and there will be a resurrection of the dead.
Personally, living conscious of the resurrection of Jesus and life after death frees me from the fear of death. It empowers me to live mindful of God—seeking to please Him and yielding to Him (Colossians 3:1-4), and the victory over the power of sin and death (1 Corinthians 15:50-58)
John 11:25-26 (AMP) says:
Jesus said to her, “I am the Resurrection and the Life. Whoever believes in (adheres to, trusts in, relies on) Me [as Savior] will live even if he dies; and everyone who lives and believes in Me [as Savior] will never die. Do you believe this?”
The resurrection of Jesus made provision for you to live the real-life here on earth, a life free from the fear of death. Even if your body dies, your spirit will not die (2 Corinthians 4:16). The resurrection of Jesus made provision for your spirit to live forever in communion with God. To accept these provisions, believe in Jesus, and rely on Him every day.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank you for freedom from the power of sin and the fear of death. In the name of Jesus, empower me to live conscious of the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
