You Are Separated

This prayer was spoken by Jesus Himself before He was crucified on the cross. He was interceding on our behalf. He asked the Father not only to protect us - but for us to be aware that we are not of this world just as He is not of this world. You are separated and are supposed to continue in that separation. When the world sees you, they notice you are different and unique. You are not what statistics says you are supposed to be and you don’t follow the behavior and customs of this world (Romans 12:1)

When you become born-again right in that moment, you are different because you have the Holy Spirit on the inside of you while the world does not. You have the greater One in you when the world does not. You were created to be different. So, don’t begin to compare yourself with other people because they are on a completely different assignment than you, and on top of that, comparison destroys your ability to stay in faith in what God has called you to do. It’s the enemy's weapon against believers so that they can feel and stay small.

But God has called you to move forward in the things He has planned for you and to shine in that anointing He has placed on your life! Stand in this truth today and you will begin to see that you being different is a blessing and not a disadvantage!

Prayer for today:

“Lord, I thank You that I am in the world, but I am not of the world. Thank You for setting me apart. Lord, I ask that You help me to continue to walk in this truth every day. I ask for wisdom and guidance to continue in Your Word and to help me renew my mind daily. I rebuke and renounce the spirit of envy and comparison. I choose to see my differences as a blessing. I thank You Father for anointing me for such a time as this. I give You and You alone all of the glory. In Jesus’ name, amen”
