21 Days: Commissioned预览
DAY 14: ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY
Key verse: The children of Judah could not drive them out; but the Jebusites dwell with the children of Judah at Jerusalem to this day. - Joshua 15:63
The Jebusites were a people group who lived in Cannan. God had commissioned Joshua and the nation of Israel to drive them out but they did not.
What you don’t drive out, you live with. The failure to drive out the inhabitants of the Jebusites led to them dwelling with the children of God and the Israelites failing to possess the entire land. Also, the Jebusites were a constant threat to the Israelites.
The same holds true for our spiritual lives. The things we refuse to drive out, we end up living with. These things will cause constant struggles in our hearts, become a snare to us and will limit us. It could be a thought pattern that we have always had, or a struggle we can’t seem to overcome.
I remember growing up with a good friend with whom I kept company with. However, he held different views to the core biblical principles that I held dear. My closeness to him was affecting how I was living out my Christian walk. At one stage, I knew I had to make a tough decision to let go of this relationship. Once I did so, I soared in my faith and spiritual growth.
We are commissioned for complete victory. Who or what are the “Jebusites” in your life today? Drive out what will limit you and refuse to tolerate anything that will get in the way of experiencing the complete victory God desires for your life.

What would complete victory look like in these areas?
