Joy and Freedom
Being confident in our salvation, we receive Christ’s gift of freedom with joy. Sin no longer binds us, and death no longer threatens us. Instead, we experience the fullness of joy that comes from God’s active presence in our lives.
Our freedom in Christ allows us to submit joyfully to the Lord. We don’t offer our lives out of a spirit of religiosity. Rather, we do it because we know that God’s ways are better than our own, and He promises to make all things work together for our good.
This freedom also enables us to love others sacrificially for the sake of the Kingdom. We can gladly serve and be generous toward others as we seek to be the hands and feet of Jesus.
