Catalyst Conference: A Week Of Change預覽
Day 2
Read Psalm 19.12-14
We’re focusing on internal change, and yesterday we celebrated the abundant grace we received through faith in Christ. We’re forgiven people and our identity in Christ never changes. That’s incredible.
Yet we don’t always live like transformed people. There are times when our leadership doesn’t reflect our redeemer. We still struggle with sin. Sometimes our insecurities surface and we say things we regret. Our desire for recognition gets in the way.
We yearn for our thinking to be continually influenced by the love and grace of God. We want His thinking to be ours. We long for people to see Jesus in us as we lead.
Today’s passage invites God to expose and deliver us from our sin. It’s an introspective prayer that compels us to make our words and thoughts acceptable to God. He is our refuge and redeemer. He’s our fortress. He is the One who makes beauty out of ashes.
Prayer
Dear Jesus, thank You for forgiving me of my sins. Thank You that Your Spirit is in me. I want more of You and less of me, as I make this psalm my prayer. Help me to see those things that are not honoring to You. You are my refuge and my redeemer. You are my source of life. I want my life to look more and more like You want it to be. Give me the strength to resist temptation and obey You. Amen.
Going Deeper
What hidden sins are God revealing to you? What steps does God want you to take to celebrate the forgiveness He offers and change your thinking and behavior?
關於此計劃
We’re challenging leaders who love the Church to break the boundaries of an ordinary existence and find the courage to embrace and radiate bold change. Let’s dig into the Holy Scriptures with this seven-day reading plan developed with our friends at American Bible Society. We’ll focus on internal change and external change. We’ll align ourselves with the ultimate change maker and the bold change God has for us.
