The LORD said to Moses, … “tell [the king] that the LORD says, ‘Let my people go, so that they can worship me.’ ”

Reflect
Reread verses 26 and 27. What reason does Moses give for not offering sacrifices to God while in Egypt? What does the king promise if Moses prays for him (verse 28)? What is Moses’s response (verse 29)? What is the result of Moses’s prayer? Why does the king continue to remain stubborn?
Pray
Lord God, daily will I worship you and praise your holy name. I offer you my humble and repentant heart and thank you for your steadfast love and care. Amen.
