It can be easy for the words we use to not necessarily line up with what we believe when it comes to our faith. Where do you see your words not matching up with your faith? Is it in how you talk to your parents? Or how you talk with your friends? Or maybe even how you talk about your friends? Whatever it is, it’s important to remember that the words we use have power. And if we’re followers of Jesus, we’re never too young to change the way we speak to better reflect His love.

Make a commitment with your small group this week to ditch words you know you shouldn’t use or tones that aren’t kind. Instead, commit to only using positive words and a tone of kindness with those around you.
