Have you ever said something you regret that hurt another person? Or maybe you’ve been on the receiving end of those hurtful words. The reality is that words can hurt terribly. We’ve all felt that way before! But if you are the one using the hurtful words, in the end you will see the consequences that often comes with it. The good news is, you’re not too young to start changing the way you speak to others! With God’s help, you can choose your words wisely and focus on building others up.

This week, practice living out your faith in the words you use. Ask God to let the words that come out of your mouth be encouraging and helpful rather than discouraging and hurtful.
