We should all be humble. That’s what the Bible tells us, and maybe what other people have told you growing up. Humility is an important quality no matter what religion someone ascribes to. But just because someone is humble doesn’t mean they aren’t confident. Some of the most humble Christians in the world were also the most confident. They had confidence from and in their identity in Jesus. Humility also doesn’t equal insecurity. It means knowing that God is in control and we are not. God loves us and works through our weaknesses. And by doing that, we have an awesome opportunity to brag about Him! So let’s remember we can’t boast about ourselves, but we can have confidence in what Jesus has done.
