OVERCOMING FEAR - KNOW WHOSE YOU ARE 

The Lord says to us, “ Don't fear for I have redeemed you, I have called you by name. You are mine.”
 

Why do I fear? It's because I have a fear of the unknown- not knowing what's going to happen in the future. There's also the fear that I won't live up to the expectations of society. 

What people say or think about us as human beings doesn't determine who we are.

Say you have a $100 dollar note. If you crumpled and stomped on this note it doesn't diminish its value right? It's still valuable as currency. The same is for life.
As we go through life people will put us down and speak things about us making us feel like we have no value. God sees you as his child. To him You are well able and you are good enough. 

As I struggle with fears, doubts and anxious thoughts, the only comfort I have is knowing that God says He loves me, that I'm good enough and that I can do anything through his strength in me.
