CONVERSATION STARTERS
Q1) What makes a person trustworthy?
Q2) Who is someone you trust in your life and why?
What does the Bible say about trust?
- God is completely trustworthy in all he says and does.
He is the Rock; his deeds are perfect. Everything he does is just and fair. He is a faithful God who does no wrong; how just and upright he is! (Deuteronomy 32:4)
Let us hold tightly without wavering to the hope we affirm, for God can be trusted to keep his promise. (Hebrews 10:23)
- Trusting God results in joy, peace and hope.
I pray that God, the source of hope, will fill you completely with joy and peace because you trust in him. Then you will overflow with confident hope through the power of the Holy Spirit. (Romans 15:13)
- God is all knowing and all loving, so we can trust him even when we don’t understand.
Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take. (Proverbs 3:5-6)
