What does the Bible say about invitations? 

• Jesus invites us all to receive eternal life.

“For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.” (John 3:16)

• God invites us to seek him.

“If you look for me wholeheartedly, you will find me. I will be found by you,” says the Lord. (Jeremiah 29:13-14a)

• Jesus invites us all to have a relationship with him.

Look! I stand at the door and knock. If you hear my voice and open the door, I will come in, and we will share a meal together as friends. (Revelation 3:20)
