Counterfeitنموونە

Do you sometimes find yourself doing good things just to get recognized for it? It’s easy to be kind or help someone when we know other people will cheer for us. As a follower of Jesus, we are encouraged to do good deeds, not so that the attention will be given to us, but so that the attention will be given to God. We are meant to draw others to God through the good that we do. So, let your deeds point back to how good God is.
Look for opportunities to grow your personal faith by doing good deeds even if no one else sees what you are doing because God can even use our secret actions to grow our faith and draw people toward following Jesus.

We know that anything of value probably has a counterfeit version out there. The same is true for our faith. Maybe copying the behaviors of other believers was a great place to start your faith journey, but how can we move beyond copying Christians to following Jesus? How do we make our faith our own? The difference between a counterfeit faith and an authentic faith is growth and heart change.
