Draw Near - Prayerنموونە

You may not be familiar with the story of Cornelius and Peter. We find it in the book of Acts. Here we discover a praying man named Cornelius who he saw a vision of an Angel who gave him instructions to invite Peter to his home.
The next day God spoke to Peter through a vision. The Holy Spirit helped him understand what it meant. Both Cornelius and Peter listened to God’s voice and obeyed, they did what God said.
Peter was a Jewish man and Cornelius was a Gentile – not Jewish. It was a rule at the time that a Jewish person could not enter the home of a Gentile. God was at work and spoke to both men, when Peter entered Cornelius’ home and was welcomed in, he knew that God treats everyone the same and accepts people from every nation. When the Holy Spirit helps us pray, God can work through us and amazing things can happen!
