What is good news to some people might be bad news to others. When we share the good news of Jesus Christ with others, they might not take it as we would expect. We might be expecting them to be as excited about Jesus as we are. Some people don’t respond right away when they hear the Gospel. We might be just one part of their journey.

King Herod thought that the news of Jesus being born wasn’t good news. He was jealous because people were waiting for a new kind of king, King Jesus, and Herod didn’t want anyone to take his place as king. When people believe something different to us, it’s important that we still love them and show them God’s love by the way we live our lives and how we treat others.
