Have you ever wanted to give up? Life might feel too exhausting, stressful, confusing, or complicated, so we decide to give up. We choose just to let whatever happens happen. Whenever we reach the end of our energy, Jesus says there is a place we can go. A place where we can find rest, healing, and, ultimately, a different way to live. That place? Well, it’s more like a person: Jesus. Instead of trying to have life figured out, we can trust the One who made it. We can look to Him for how to navigate life and know He will always create space for us to rest.
Today, set a timer for five minutes. Focus your mind on Jesus in that time. Remind yourself that He is someone you can always trust and who will give you rest.
