Walk With Jesus: 21 Days Through Matthewنموونە

John the Baptist was a prophet who lived off the land, ate locusts, and spoke loudly about God and God's desire for people to repent (or turn away from) their sins, the things that kept them away from God. He was the first prophet that God has sent to the Jews in a really long time! John would tell people to repent of their sins and turn back to God. When people did, John would baptize them by dunking them in the river. Even as he was doing God's work, though, John kept telling people that someone was coming who would save them from their sins forever - someone who would baptize them with the Spirit! Who do you think John was talking about? John spent his whole life telling other people about Jesus. We are called to do the same thing! What are some ways you can tell people about Jesus, or show people what it means to be a follower of Jesus?
