Jesus came to John the Baptist to be baptized. But John knew who Jesus was and told Jesus that he should be the one baptizing, not being baptized! But Jesus insisted, and John baptized him. When Jesus was baptized, everyone looked up to the sky because it was opening up and the Spirit of the Lord came down and said "You are my beloved son!" Can you imagine being there and seeing that? What would it have been like? God had a big plan for Jesus. What was that plan? Let's pray and thank God for sending his son!
