ARE YOU FEARFUL? INCREASE YOUR FAITH!

Where there is no fear, there is faith! Faith is what pleases God. Faith is how the just live. That is what God is ALWAYS looking for: faith found in the earth, not fear.

With fear, it is impossible to bring Him pleasure.

Without faith, it is impossible to bring Him pleasure.

God is pleased when we simply BELIEVE Him above all else. When we believe in Him, He gets the glory through our lives. When we believe Him, there is no room for fear to change our minds, our direction, or our thoughts about anything.

As your faith increases, your fear decreases; it’s inevitable. Fear is faith perverted. The enemy of your soul may be crafty, but he is not creative. He can only twist or pervert what has already been created - even your thoughts. Yes, any thought that does not line up with God’s desire for your life is a twisted thought from the enemy. It is a lie designed to weaken your faith.

Imagine your car. Imagine that it’s powerful, full of bells and whistles, and a high-performance vehicle. When people see it, they say, “Wow, now that’s a car!” They know it represents high quality, high performance, and they never doubt that the car will perform at the level that it has been created to perform.

God is like that car. He is powerful, all by Himself. He is a Promise Keeper. He is a Healer. He is a Provider. He is a Protector. He is the Giver of life, and He’s right in front of you, just like that car. Do you know, even though a car CAN perform, without a key, it’s NOT moving? Without the proper technology, that vehicle, with all that power, is not going to move for you! Faith works the same way. Faith is that key that gets God to move. Fear is the expectation of evil outcomes, but faith is the expectation of God’s faithfulness to us when fear creeps in. Faith allows room for God to become bigger in our hearts than the fear we face. Faith redirects our trust towards God. Faith will protect us from any unmet expectations of man or of an outcome. Write this one down: faith is not measured in size; it’s measured in endurance. No matter what, don’t allow the fear of anything to kill your faith. Trust the Lord; it pleases Him.

REFLECTION:

●Consider the things you fear the most. Find scriptures that support God’s view on that matter, and meditate on those scriptures. Meditation builds your faith.

●Faith is having a moral conviction and being fully persuaded on the truthfulness of who God is. As you reflect, has your faith been misplaced? Has your faith been in God or in the things that He can do or provide?

●Remember to keep your faith in Him and nothing else.
