5 Steps to Standing Strong in Spiritual Warfare (For Women)نموونە

Eliminate Physical and Emotional Exhaustion
When you’re really exhausted, watch out! The enemy is ready to attack. Oftentimes, he uses our exhaustion to get us to become snappy, irritated, frustrated, and easily angered. While God tells us that love is not irritable and to get rid of outbursts of anger, the enemy loves to use our fatigue against us to sin against God. So we’ve got to get our rest.
If you’re not getting in bed early enough at night, that could be a direct hit! Counteract Satan’s idea of staying up later than you should by intentionally going to sleep. This means turning off the television, closing the laptop, and putting your phone down for the night. Just like your cell phone needs recharging to run well, so do you. So get some rest, sis.
As women, we wear a lot of hats. We are the chef, chauffeur, and oftentimes the counselor for our children (whether young or old). Some of us work in ministry and some in the marketplace. At home, we cook, clean, wash, mop, and sweep. And in a day of social media, a lot of us are creating content, sifting through endless ideas in our minds, as we juggle multiple social feeds. All of these can bring on physical exhaustion and the enemy knows that this is when we can have our spiritual guard down.
Also, when we’re so tired from doing all-the-things, sometimes it’s hard to spend dedicated and unhurried time with God. This is a strategy used by the enemy. I often encourage women by saying, “Fight for your time to be with the Lord." Most of us are familiar with the story of Mary and Martha. Martha was so preoccupied in the kitchen getting everything ready for Jesus that she was missing out on simply being with Him. Instead, Mary took time to stop and sit at the feet of Jesus to learn from Him.
Satan does not want us to learn from Jesus. So he will make us busy. He will make us tired. He will have us on a hamster wheel, and sometimes he will attack us when we’re emotionally exhausted. As women, when we are hormonal, that is when we need to pause and consider our emotional sensitivity. Sometimes when there is a hormonal imbalance, we tend to be less loving, harsher in tone, and emotionally reactive. When Satan wants to play on our emotions, we must stand strong against his schemes by eliminating physical and emotional exhaustion by resting, praying, leaning on scripture, taking medication (as directed by a physician or pharmacist), and walking in the fruit of self-control.

Without a doubt, believers all around the world experience spiritual warfare. As women, the enemy attacks us with a barrage of lies that we’re not enough. He tries to get us to compare ourselves over social status, accomplishments, appearance, and position. Oftentimes he distracts us to make us busier than necessary, so we’re too tired or preoccupied to spend time with God. Then when the battles in life come, sometimes we’re just not strong enough to fight back. In this 5-Day Devotional Plan you will discover how to stand strong in spiritual warfare as a kingdom woman in battle!
