The Way to True Happinessنموونە

Blessed are those who keep the Word
“Blessed are those who hear and keep what is written” (Revelation 1:3 ESV). This verse reads as a beatitude, like Jesus’ teaching in the Sermon on the Mount. It is a promise for those who listen to the words of the prophecy and keep them in their hearts. For the time of Jesus' return is near. Things are about to happen. God's adversary, Satan, tries to pull people away from God before he will be destroyed completely. In these challenging circumstances, it is especially important to 'keep' the Word of God.
‘Keeping’ the Word means being well rooted in it, and practicing it constantly. It can also mean ‘safekeeping’. You keep safe those things that are precious to you, for a specific purpose or for an appropriate time. ‘Keeping’ also means to maintain, to observe, to obey. To summarize, the apostle urges us to cherish a most precious thing: the revelation of Jesus Christ to His Church through His Word, and by His Spirit. That presents quite a challenge.
The Bible begins by telling us that the Creator commanded Adam to cultivate and preserve the earth. He was to cultivate it, on the condition that his labor aimed to preserve. God gave humans stewardship of His creation. In Genesis 3, we are told how all this went wrong. Humanity has proved unworthy of their task by rebelling against the Creator. We are all facing the consequences. Cultivating the earth is now accompanied by toil, failure, misfortune and disasters. Angels now guard the entrance to the tree of life. However, God will restore His good creation. He gave us His Word to teach us about His coming Kingdom and to guide us on the path of life. Therefore, we are called to preserve and cherish these Words, “as servants of Christ and stewards of the mysteries of God” (1 Corinthians 4:1 ESV). When the way to the tree of life is opened again in the newly created Paradise, God’s children will eat from this tree and there will be eternal happiness!
