Day 3 – God Works Through Imperfect People
Devotional:
We often think leaders must be morally perfect, wise, relational, and visionary. Yet the Bible and history are full of exceptions—David’s sins, Solomon’s unwise compromises, Paul’s conflicts, and Peter’s reluctance to reach Gentiles. God used them despite their flaws because they were willing to follow His lead. The truth is, no leader is without failure, but every leader God uses is willing to be shaped and humbled by Him. Our imperfections don’t disqualify us; they remind us to depend completely on His grace.

Bible Verse: 2 Corinthians 12:9 – “But he said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.’”

Discussion Question: How have your failures or shortcomings taught you to rely more on God’s grace?

Closing Prayer: Lord, I thank You that You use imperfect people. Shape my character and keep me humble so that I lead with dependence on You. Amen.

Who Does God Use?

God often chooses the unlikely, the reluctant, and the imperfect to lead. This 5-day devotional explores how He calls and equips ordinary people to influence the world for His glory. Through Scripture, reflection, and prayer, you’ll discover that your placement is intentional, your weaknesses can be strengths, and your leadership is ultimately about pointing others to Him.
