30 Days of Endurance for Women Leadersنموونە

Week 4 — Strength Renewed
Day 25: Courage to Continue
Biblical Basis: Joshua 1:9 (ESV)
“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous.
Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”
There is a courage that wears a good face when things are easy but gives way entirely when challenged, while there is also a false sense of bravery with no true foundation. However, the courage God commands is different. It is born not from self-reliance or empty words but from the unshakable presence of the Lord.
When Joshua stood at the edge of the Promised Land, facing giants, uncertainty, and the unknown, God’s command was clear: Be strong and courageous. This wasn’t a gentle encouragement but a divine mandate, grounded in the promise: I am with you wherever you go.
This courage is not about fearless absence of struggle or doubt. It’s about facing fear and dismay with a steadfast heart anchored in God’s faithfulness. It is the boldness that says, “Even if I do not see the whole path, I will trust the One who goes before me.”
True courage comes from knowing you are not alone in the battle—that your steps are ordered by a God who never abandons. When the weight feels heavy and the road long, courage is choosing to move forward despite uncertainty, drawing strength from God’s abiding presence. It is a posture of obedience, an act of faith that refuses to be paralyzed by fear or overwhelmed by the unknown.
This courage sustains endurance. It fuels your next step when the last felt impossible. Today, draw deeply from the Lord’s presence. Let His promise of companionship and strength become the source of your courage to continue.
DEEP Reflection:
- D – Draw Near to God:
Pray: “Lord, fill me with Your courage today. Help me to trust Your presence over my fears.” - E – Examine the Text:
Read Joshua 1:1–18. How does God prepare Joshua for leadership and courage in this passage? - E – Engage Your Heart:
When have you felt fear or dismay about the path ahead? How can God’s presence shift your perspective? - P – Practice the Principle:
Identify one situation where you need courage to continue. Speak God’s promise over that situation daily this week.
By the end of your day, reflect on the following question: What does courage look like for you right now — and how can you draw it from the Lord?
See you on day twenty-six.
