30 Days of Endurance for Women Leadersنموونە

Week 4 — Strength Renewed
Day 26: The Power of Community
Biblical Basis: Ecclesiastes 4:9–12 (ESV)
“Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their toil.
For if they fall, one will lift up his fellow.
But woe to him who is alone when he falls and has not another to lift him up!
Again, if two lie together, they keep warm, but how can one keep warm alone?
And though a man might prevail against one who is alone, two will withstand him—a threefold cord is not quickly broken.”
Leadership is often painted as a solitary pursuit, but God’s design is anything but isolation. You were created for community, a deep, honest, resilient connection that strengthens your endurance and sharpens your faith.
The wisdom of Ecclesiastes reminds you that two are better than one. Not only do you benefit from support, but your presence in the lives of others is vital too. Community is a lifeline when the weight of responsibility feels too heavy. It’s the place where someone lifts you up when you fall, where warmth is shared on the coldest days, and where strength multiplies exponentially.
This threefold cord is woven through shared struggles, prayers, encouragement, and accountability. It’s not just about having people around but about cultivating relationships that endure hardship and foster growth.
Loneliness in leadership is a vulnerability the enemy exploits. But when you embrace the power of community, you build a fortress that resists isolation, despair, and burnout. The courage to be vulnerable, to ask for help, and to invest in others is itself an act of endurance. If you want to walk boldly in your calling, don’t walk alone. Lean into the power of the community God has provided for your survival and flourishing.
DEEP Reflection:
- D – Draw Near to God:
Pray: “Lord, bring the right people into my life. Help me both to receive support and to encourage others.” - E – Examine the Text:
Read Ecclesiastes 4:7–12. What benefits does the passage describe about companionship and mutual support? - E – Engage Your Heart:
Who in your community lifts you up? Where might God be calling you to deepen connection or ask for support? - P – Practice the Principle:
Reach out to one person this week for encouragement, prayer, or accountability. Commit to nurturing a relationship that builds endurance.
By the end of your day, reach out to a trusted friend or mentor for prayer and encouragement this week.
See you on day twenty-seven.
