Have you ever seen a dog caught by its owner doing something bad? Somehow dogs seem amazingly human-like in those moments. Why? Because of their shame. They bow their head, tuck in their tail, avoid eye contact—all in the same way we humans do when we’re caught doing something wrong (well, minus the tail part). 

All of us know the feeling of doing something we know we shouldn’t. And we probably know what it feels like to feel terrible about it afterwards. But thankfully, because of Christ, we can approach God BOLDLY and CONFIDENTLY. Our shame doesn’t have to keep us far from God. In fact, nothing does. No matter who we are or what we’ve done, we can approach God 100% certain of what we’ll find with Him: love, acceptance, and a fresh start.
