River Valley Church SOAP - Part 2Sample

Moses recites a song to Israel, one that ends in a hope in God’s faithfulness for them to hold on to. He then pronounces a blessing over the people, and finally dies on a mountain overlooking the promised land that Israel is going to enter. Deuteronomy and the whole Torah end here with some uncertainty: will Israel fulfill the covenant with God and be blessed, or will they fail the way Moses predicts? It leaves Israel hoping and longing for a transformed heart that is able to truly obey and love God.
