River Valley Church SOAP - Part 2Sample

Daniel is now back on the scene as the narrative portion of Daniel continues. We witness the changing of leadership to King Darius, which leads into a favorite story of the Old Testament: Daniel and the Lion’s Den. Again, Daniel is faced with another choice of loyalties, and in unwavering fashion, he chooses to worship God above all else. His obedience leads to what many think is his eventual demise, but once again, God intervenes. In these chapters, God is powerfully seen as our protector, our provider, and our peace.
