River Valley Church SOAP - Part 2Sample

Paul is writing from prison and encourages the Ephesians to not lose heart because of the suffering he is enduring. In the midst of Paul’s imprisonment his prayer for the Ephesians is that they know Jesus and the immensity of his love for them. Paul asks them to walk in unity, use the spiritual gifts received so the Body of Christ may continue to mature and grow. Examples are given of what grieves the Holy Spirit with reminders of how we as believers are to treat others, so that the unity written about can be protected.
