When struggles come your way, do you ever feel afflicted, perplexed, or unable to figure it all out? Do you feel as though you’re being persecuted or misunderstood? 

There are times we all feel low in spirit and struck down by our life’s circumstances. Even so, never give up, scripture encourages us in times of struggle, for in Christ we are not destroyed.

Whatever the situation and the feelings and thoughts that come, God loves us immeasurably. He sees and knows our thoughts and is with us through the valley.

He wants us to lean more on Him during this struggle and to examine our heart then confess the sin that brought us to this place. I believe that He forgives immediately when we confess and is “faithful and just to cleanse us from all unrighteousness”.

He wants the struggle to grow our faith and our hope in His ability to transform us to look more like Him.

If you find yourself here today, let me encourage you to do the following:

1. Ask God to help you see the current situation clearly through His eyes.

2. Ask God to bring to your mind your sin and wrong actions in the situation.

3. Ask God to forgive and cleanse you; He will immediately.

4. Ask God to help you walk forward with a renewed heart and mind to honor Him.

5. Ask God to establish your thoughts on Him today.

Dear God: Thank you for always being here to hear my heart and for seeing my needs. I ask you to help me see this situation clearly through your eyes, see my sin and please forgive my sin. Please help me walk forward as a righteous woman who honors you with her words and deeds.
