Walking With Jesus Sample

Save us too!
This scripture always reminds me of the movies that portray an angel on one shoulder and a devil on the other. There’s two things I want to point out.
First, we know how the story ends but in all honesty Jesus was met with a physical temptation. His flesh certainly wanted the pain to stop but He fulfilled His mission.
Second, the thief that acknowledged His fate is the embodiment of Romans 3:23. We must acknowledge that we have sinned against God. Jesus honored this in a big way while dealing with His own pain. This should tell us how important that step is to God. We need to leave our sin in the past, but we must first identify it and own it. We serve a great God who has removed our sins as far from us as the east is from the west.
It's amazing that the other thief saw his sin, saw Jesus for who He was, and asked Him to remember Him when He came into His Kingdom. Jesus certainly said He would.
Today’s Scripture: Luke 23:39-43, Romans 3:23, Psalm 103:12
Pray: Lord, thank you for forgiving me. I am so grateful you have removed my sin as far as the east is from the west.
Daily Challenge: Don’t be the devil on the shoulder, be the angel. Be a positive influence today.
