Moments for Mums: IdentitySample

The incredible picture of the woman in Proverbs 31 can seem like an impossible goal. It is today's verse that most draws a sense of longing from my heart. 

Clothing is visible. Her strength and dignity is apparent to all who encounter her. 

Her sense of security is deep and unshaken as she smiles and laughs without fear of the future. 

I want to be a woman who is secure and strong. I don’t always feel like I am despite my best efforts. 

Where is this Proverbs 31 woman getting this clothing of strength and deep security? The rest of the chapter gives insight into the choices she makes that build this strength. The true foundation underlying all these choices is found in verse 30—she fears the Lord, worshipping him, serving him and walking closely with him. 

I want this to be my foundation, too.
