The name Bezalel is not heard often. The Bible mentions him as a man with many skills. He made artistic designs with gold, silver, and bronze. He cut and set stones, worked in wood, and engaged in all kinds of artistic crafts. He sounds amazing!

What was his key to success? It was not because of who his parents were, or which tribe he came from, but because he was filled with the Spirit of God. The Bible says that God chose Bezalel and through the anointing carried out by Moses and the priests at that time, the Spirit of God gave him wisdom and understanding above ordinary men.

We, too, can be as skillful and great as Bezalel when we receive God’s anointing and are filled with His Spirit. Your schooling, extracurricular activities, and genetic factors aside, God’s anointing can lift you higher and enable you to do mighty things for the glory of God.

Devotion for Parents
As parents, we are given the power to anoint our children. I have anointed my children from the time they were in my womb.

From today onward, lay hands on your children every day. Anoint them and let the Holy Spirit fill them.

To be smart and successful - that’s what we want to be to make our parents proud. However, do you know what makes your parents even happier? To see you filled with the Holy Spirit and walking in the Truth.

Remind your parents to pray for you every day before you go to school or do anything at all. The anointed prayers of your parents help a great deal.

What are your children’s goals and dreams for the future? Talk about that. Then, surrender those goals and dreams to God and pray together. Nothing is impossible when God is at work.
