Parents and Kids Daily Devotional "Look at "UsSample
Similar to a broom stick that has more use when the sticks are all together, or a raft when all the logs are put together, when we are united and walk together we become much stronger than if we are alone.
There is always a reason to avoid our responsibility to be the light and witness of Christ. But, we can change our ways when we have friends who strengthen us, support us, complement our shortcomings, and help us when we fall. We can walk together towards the destination God has intended for us.
In this last week of May, this Word of God which may sound simple but is very powerful, reminds us to stay united and to walk hand in hand as we follow through with what God wants us to do. When temptation comes, when challenges get in the way, we will stand strong because we are not alone. We have people around us who support and strengthen us.
Devotion for Parents
As adults, sometimes we think that we can do everything by ourselves. But hey, our strength is limited. And when we fail, we start to point fingers. We blame the circumstances, or the people who, in our opinion, were not being supportive of us.
Look around you. Take a closer look at your family. They are your closest people. Your team. They are the God-given people who are to be with you in your journey. The question is, have you involved them in your walk? Or, do you walk alone all the time and leave them out?
Devotion for Kids
As children of God, you still need help, support, and guidance to do many things. You can’t do everything alone. Your parents and family are the most important people that God has given to support and help you.
Give thanks to God for your family. Do you feel that the support your family gives makes you stronger?
Family Devotion Time
Your family members are the most important people in your life. They walk with you towards the destination God has intended for you. Today, take time to appreciate one another for the support and encouragement they give you to do God’s will. End today’s devotion by praying for one another.

About this Plan
As God's children, we are a reflection of who He is and the various characters He has. During this month we will look at the principles together and how to be the light in our lives.
