A Time to Bloom!

DAY 1 OF 6

An invitation to bloom again!

In nature, blooming again means to flourish, bring forth sprigs, and come to life again. The life that was once dead now sprouts like a young plant. Immediately, leaves come out, and it begins to bear fruit. If we apply this imagery to our reality; just as turning green or blooming is a new birth for a plant or a tree, when we bloom in our spirit, we are having a new birth in our spiritual life.

God wants us to bloom again within our inner being, and this can only be achieved through Christ. By His holy sacrifice, we were redeemed and reconciled with God, the father. Redeeming is the result of rescuing one that was captive and paying an amount for their freedom. That is precisely what Jesus did for us as Ephesians 1:5-7 (GNT) says:

“God had already decided that through Jesus Christ, he would make us his children, this was his pleasure and purpose. Let us praise God for his glorious grace, for the free gift he gave us in his dear Son! For by the blood of Christ we are set free, that is, our sins are forgiven. How great is the grace of God”.

Blooming again begins when you decide to forgive yourself and others who hurt you in the past- because in order for us to advance in the Kingdom of God, we must learn to let go, forgive, and forget. Walking and manifesting these three principles will lead you to transcend in your spiritual walk with God. In my experience, God made me go to my past, forgive, and let go; but first He had to heal me, so I could bloom again as a child of God. Therefore, I invite you to take the key of the Word of God and in the next few days, read this devotional, decide to bloom again, and move forward in Christ. This is your time! I declare that in the name of Jesus, you will be able to let go, forgive, forget, and receive the gift of God’s grace, so you can flourish like never before.

God’s desire is for you to bloom again. You just need to surrender to his presence and believe that this is your time to flourish and bear fruit in Him.

“At the scent of water, it will flourish again and produce sprigs like a plant”. Job 14:9 (NASB)

Reflection:

In your moment of intimacy with God, take a pencil and a piece of paper, begin to answer each of the following questions, and allow God, by his Holy Spirit, to whisper into your heart His answers for you.

  • Which areas of your life do you understand that you must give to God so that you can bloom again?
  • Whom or what must you forgive, forget, and let go in order to flourish again?
  • When you hear the word grace, what comes to your mind?
Day 2
