Energy is a word that sometimes causes a fronting look and raised eyebrows. I am then asked if I am not talking about something else. The fear of the word energy is there for a reason. The devil has kept quite a strategic house in that area. Still, I want to take on the challenge of starting a movement with you, where we reclaim ground on the theme of energy. As said, the devil has already managed to distort quite a bit in the energy field. Think of all the spiritual influences that are far removed from the message of Jesus and have to do with energy. It’s not for nothing that the devil does that. So let’s get a few things straight first:
- Energy is (from) God and His Holy Spirit. Look up some synonyms of the word energy, and you will find: esprit, spirit, strength, and many other meanings that give you a better picture of what is so full within you. Perhaps we have become afraid of the energy and possibly dealing with the wrong energies or spirits. Because of the fear, we may have become closed to more Spiritual Activity.
- ”And Jesus said to them: I am the bread of life; whoever comes to Me will certainly not be hungry, and who believes in Me, will never be thirsty.” (John 6:35). Your working force. Jesus is not talking about food for the stomach here but for your system. “But He answered and said: It is written: Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.” (Matthew 4:4). The words of God give you energy.
- Your spirit, which is within you, is called energy or your working force. In connection with the Holy Spirit, then that is your working force. Fill your mind with thoughts from the Holy Spirit and God's Word.
If we were to define the word spirit, we would come across a very interesting and physical definition of energy, among other things: The potential to move (to Acts 2:1-2), to heat (to Acts 2:3-4) or do labor otherwise (to Acts 1:8). Energy is described as the force that keeps everything in our universe moving. The ancient Greeks also called it ‘active force.’ God is, without a doubt, the force that keeps everything moving in our universe. He is our active force. Our energy comes from our limited spirit and when we surrender to God from His Spirit. The Holy Spirit gives us the power to move; the Spirit warms us and gives us the strength to do labor otherwise.
About this Plan
As long as we do not study the theme of energy, we will not experience the full potential of the Spirit. God does not want to live at a distance from us. He sent His Son to earth to save us from sin. Jesus indicates in His word that He will no longer be physically among us but by His Spirit. In this reading plan, I will teach you how to approach the Spirit in a new way.
