Heavenly Fuel

DAY 3 OF 5

An exciting process takes place in your brain. Thinking makes neurons grow. Neurons are tiny supercomputers in your brain. They are part of your nervous system, and your long-term memories are stored in them. So energy (thoughts) becomes mass (neurons). How great God has made us! It is not a question. It is science. God has made a wonderful thing that surpasses understanding, His creation, and is occasionally discovered by a genius few. Science reveals tiny puzzle pieces of God’s ingenious and never-to-be-comprehensible creation. Energy from thoughts is also largely the fuel that flows through your system. A thought arises from information that you think to yourself or that you receive. As adults, you can choose what you watch and listen to. (To Galatians 5:13) As a dependent child, that’s a different story. Once you have passed age 25 and your pre-frontal cortex has fully developed, you have enough cognitive skills to make a conscious choice. Now the question is: Do you fuel up positive or negative energy? What do you fill your thoughts with? Are you in control of your thoughts? God thinks our thoughts are very important. It’s a very important channel of communication for His Spirit. Controlling thoughts means you get a sharp eye on the thoughts you may bring to the cross, which you should send away in the Name of Jesus. It also means that you can discover what thoughts come from God. Sometimes we think that what happens behind our eyes is in our thought life before ourselves, but none of that. Our thoughts determine the quality of our energy and are so important that they affect our physical health. So it is God's pure love when Paul tells us to renew our thoughts. I received a similar lesson a few years ago. A thought filled my head: “Find the discipline to control your thoughts.” In light of what I have told you before, perhaps you can now imagine how immensely important it is to follow that lesson. God says it out of enormous love for us. Take the time today to examine the quality of your thoughts. What would you do if God told you: “Find the discipline to control your thoughts.”?

About this Plan

Heavenly Fuel

As long as we do not study the theme of energy, we will not experience the full potential of the Spirit. God does not want to live at a distance from us. He sent His Son to earth to save us from sin. Jesus indicates in His word that He will no longer be physically among us but by His Spirit. In this reading plan, I will teach you how to approach the Spirit in a new way.
