Heavenly FuelSample
Energy equals strength. (To Isaiah 40:29) Strength, or energy, is your working force. “Ah, Lord God! Behold, You have made the heavens and the earth by Your great power and outstretched arm. There is nothing too hard for you.” (Jeremiah 32:17)
If you exchange the word power for the word energy, you then get a different perspective on the same text. Energy also equals power. And to think that we were created in His image. What energy! (To Genesis 1:26) We look like Him. How are we like Him? Our identity is in Him. The definition of identity is the unity of being, perfect agreement, and equality. So when we say that our identity is in Christ, we experience this unity. Another interesting aspect of our identity is its composition, existing out of spirit and body. The spirit has an eternal character, the body at the most long term. “For dust (matter) you are, and to dust, you shall return.” (Genesis 3:19)
In the natural sciences, it emerges that matter (which also means your body) consists mostly of emptiness. Let that sink in for a while. We are wondrous beings born of dust. What would be interesting in this light is that God is concerned with our character. While we are so busy with only what we see, our visible life and body. If God is not present in it, then we are very busy with hot air. That is what we feel too. We experience emptiness if we don’t let God’s Spirit fill our enormous void. We fill this void with the wrong things that only offer us a short-term solution and need more soon. Think of material, money, and other addictions. You need God’s strength daily to fill that vast void forever. You need God’s energy to do what He asks of you. Without Him, you remain empty. Allow your emptiness to be filled by God’s Heavenly energy today. You have a lot of emptiness to fill. And He wants to fill that void. Also, today I want to encourage you to stretch out your arms and ask the Holy Spirit to fill you with Heavenly energy. Let God fill your whole void with His power.
About this Plan
As long as we do not study the theme of energy, we will not experience the full potential of the Spirit. God does not want to live at a distance from us. He sent His Son to earth to save us from sin. Jesus indicates in His word that He will no longer be physically among us but by His Spirit. In this reading plan, I will teach you how to approach the Spirit in a new way.
