David - Faithful Servant, Friend and KingSample

In the Old Testament, we read about many kings who ruled over Israel and Judah. Some listened to God and obeyed Him, and some didn’t. King Saul was the first king of Israel and started out as a good king, but he disobeyed God, and God rejected him as king. God chose David to be the next king. David was a faithful king who obeyed God. God even described David as a man after His own heart. From the line of David came the greatest king of all, King Jesus! David was a faithful servant, friend, and king.
