David - Faithful Servant, Friend and KingSample

Jesus tells a story about a man who has been dishonest and misspent his master’s money. He doesn’t want to lose his job, so he goes around to everyone who owes his master and reduces their debts. He does this so those people will be kind to him when needed. The master tells the man that he has done a good thing.
Jesus explains what the story means. There’s a connection between being faithful to small things and being trusted to be faithful to bigger things. How you look after what God has given you or what belongs to someone else says a lot about how you will deal with the more God has for you.
