I AmSample

No matter the issue, people are passionate about their opinions. Social media is proof of this, where we can see the benefits and downsides of sharing our opinions. We might feel pressure to form an opinion even if we are unsure about the truth of the matter.
It's not easy to know what's true. Wouldn't it be awesome if we could sit down with Jesus whenever we wanted to ask him all the questions we have? Even though Jesus isn't physically with us, that doesn't mean he isn't speaking to us. Not only that, but the presence of God is with us through the Holy Spirit. In today's passage, Jesus said to his disciples, I still have many things to say to you and that the Holy Spirit will guide you into all truth. Jesus said the Holy Spirit will speak what is heard from God.
The Holy Spirit is our helper, guiding us as we embark on the journey of finding the truth. God's words will become clearer to us with the help of the Holy Spirit. Our understanding will increase, and we will be able to apply what we read to our lives with how we act and what we believe.
This world can feel dark, but Jesus is our light, and the Holy Spirit will guide us as we seek truth. Ask God to be your guide as you navigate questions surrounding what is true.

About this Plan

When Jesus was on earth, there were a few times when he told his followers exactly who he was. For the next four weeks, we'll explore some of these stories to find out how Jesus described himself to others. We'll take a look at what changes when we hear Jesus tell us he is love, he is truth, he is always with us, and how he is our Savior.
