Promise 6: You are given the power to live victoriously.

How can you overcome the world? By believing that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. When you believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, God gives you a new heart. You are born of God—spiritually born. It is your faith, your belief, that overcomes the world. What does this mean? It means that you trust God, and when you truly trust Him…

• God will give you victory and enable you to rise above all the trials and temptations of life (2 Tim.4:18) (1 Cor. 10:13).
• God will give you victory over all the evil forces and overwhelming obstacles in this life (Rom.8:35, 37-39) (Isa.41:10).
• God will give you victory over sin (1 Cor.10:13) (1 Pet.2:24).
• God will give you victory over death (John 5:24) (Heb.2:14-15).
• God will give you victory over the coming condemnation and judgment (Rom.5:8-10) (John 3:16-18).
• God will give you victory over fear and despair, and fill you with love, joy, and peace (Gal.5:22-23).
• God will give you victory over Satan and all other spiritual forces.

Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore, put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand (Ep.6:11-13, NIV).
