In the town of Bethlehem, a King was born, the King of kings, and His name was Jesus. Wise men from the east saw a star in the sky, telling them about the birth of this king, and they set out on their long journey to find him. But the wise men weren't the only people this good news was shared with.

In the fields surrounding Bethlehem a group of shepherds had gathered all their sheep into a pen for the night. They sat around a fire, staying warm, and getting ready to go to sleep when something incredible happened. An angel appeared to tell them good news!

As you read the rest of the story today remember that whenever we hear the story of Jesus' birth, we remember how much God loves us.
