Part of change includes changing our minds about the way we think about or see things. Often, we only think of change as something like a new school, a new schedule, a new friend, or a new circumstance. But part of experiencing change can be changing the way we think about things. It’s called a change in perspective! The Bible teaches us the importance of letting God transform (or change) you into a new person by changing the way you think. That means we begin to see things, people, or situations the way God sees them. Then, we will better know and understand what God has for us in this life.
Today, ask God to help change how you think about things, people, or situations you may experience. Then, this week, pay attention to the way your thoughts change toward things in your life. Even if it’s the smallest change to see it in a new way, thank God for helping you change your perspective a little bit this week!
