Every year, we know that every few months, a new season begins. The cold of winter will always give way to the fresh bloom of spring. The heat of summer will always lead to the crispness of fall. It’s just going to happen; it’s part of the design of our world. Like the coming of a new season, change is a part of life we can't avoid. Sometimes we can anticipate it, and sometimes we can't. Sometimes it's hard, and other times it's easy. Whatever season of change we may find ourselves in, we can rest assured that Jesus can use it to shape our lives for the better.
Get out on a walk today! As you do, notice the signs of the season you see in nature. Let those signs remind you to both be present in the season you’re in and anticipate the change of the season to come.
