Be HumbleSample

Have you ever felt like you were working hard at something but not getting the recognition you thought you deserved? It’s a really frustrating feeling, right? When that happens, it feels like you aren’t getting the credit you thought you were owed. In moments like that, we can’t let our hurt pride get in the way of our self-esteem and confidence. While the world may not be recognizing our efforts, we know that God sees it all.
When we look to God for confidence and recognition, we can be sure we’ll be lifted up. So, instead of looking around and waiting for someone to notice, we should try to honor God in all we do. Whether it's helping a friend, being helpful around the house, or being kind to others, God notices our actions, and that matters more than anything else.
Today, work on memorizing this verse. To do that, get creative! Put it to music, draw it in a picture, or reflect on it in your journal. Whatever your creative outlet is, use that to help you put God’s truth in your mind this week.
