Take a BowSample

Faith has a way of being tricky for us at times. We can’t physically see God, we don’t audibly hear God, and God doesn’t typically talk back when we pray. Yet we’re supposed to believe God is always there, working and caring for us. It sort of feels against our nature to trust in Someone we can’t see, hear, or experience tangibly in front of us, doesn’t it? Well, this is what faith is all about! It requires us to choose the type of humility that allows us to admit we don’t know it all, yet we choose to put our confidence in the fact that God’s power is always working on our behalf.
To continue thinking on this, work on memorizing this verse again this week. Read it in a few other translations in the Bible app and talk to your Small Group about what stands out to you. Share what the verse teaches you about both confidence and humility.
