The electric bill sat there on the table in front of me, and my stomach twisted. That day, pulling three hundred dollars together might as well have been like needing a million. What am I going to do? I wondered. Lord, please provide.

A few hours later, an email hit my inbox. A new project. The client offered to send a deposit immediately—three hundred dollars. I was astonished—but I shouldn’t have been. Even without a husband to provide for me and my precious children, we had a heavenly Father who never let us down. Even in our leanest times, we have never not had what we needed.

Mama, just as the sun rises on another day—and you can count on that every day—you can count on your heavenly Father to provide for you. Even if you are facing uncertainty this day, He is not. He sees the end before the beginning, and He’s already made a way for you—to meet that need, to calm that fear, to make a way.

Each day will bring its own set of challenges—we know that is true! But even more true is the promise that God is an ever-present help in time of need. Even in our most challenging times, He stands ready to help. All you need to do is ask.

Lord, thank You for Your provision in every area of my life. With Your help, I know there is nothing in my life that I can’t handle this day. Amen.
