Come Boldly and Receive

Many times we hesitate to receive God’s blessings out of fear, insecurity, or concern about what others might think. Instead of embracing His provision, we shrink back, feeling unworthy. We often allow fear and self-doubt to rob us of what God freely gives.

But Hebrews 4:16 reminds us of a powerful truth: “Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.”

God’s blessings are not for the timid or passive—they are for those who confidently trust in His goodness. Boldness in receiving from God is not arrogance; it is faith in action. Our worthiness is not based on us—it’s based on Jesus. The more we understand His grace, the more we can confidently receive all He has for us.

Our confidence should never come from our own efforts or abilities, but from Christ. Just as a child has no hesitation in receiving from a loving parent, we are called to come freely to our Father, knowing that He delights in blessing us. Jesus never turned away those who came to Him in faith. In the same way, God desires that we receive, not reluctantly, but with joy and boldness.
