Artist Rise Up: Embrace Your Calling, Release God’s GlorySample

The enemy doesn’t have to steal your talent—he only has to distort your identity. If he can convince you that you’re not good enough, that your art doesn’t matter, or that you’ve missed your moment, he knows you’ll stop yourself.
But you’re not called to live under those lies. You’ve been adopted, anointed, and assigned by God. John 8:32 says, “You will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” Freedom begins when we stop agreeing with lies and start aligning with truth.
Romans 8:16–17 tells us we are children of God and heirs with Christ. That means you’re not just tolerated—you’re treasured. You’re not a mistake—you’re a masterpiece with a mission.
But lies don’t leave on their own. You have to take them captive. 2 Corinthians 10:5 says we demolish arguments and bring every thought into obedience to Christ. That includes thoughts like, “I’m not enough,” “Who do I think I am?” or “Someone else is already doing it better.”
God is calling you to renew your mind and walk in truth. Your confidence comes not from your résumé—but from your identity in Christ.
Reflection Prompt:
What lie about your identity have you believed? Write it down, then cross it out and write a Scripture-based truth in its place.
